The project consists of construction inspection for the bridge replacement including demolition, new inverse panel installation, parapet walls, Integral abutments, steel bearing piles, new steel beams and utilities (12"gas, electric, cable TV, 16" water, ITS. 

Ridge Hill (Bates) Bridge over New York State Thruway.

The scope of work includes the demolition and removal of the existing Ridge Hill Bridge in accordance with maintenance and protection of traffic (MPT) guidelines set forth by the NYSTA, and the construction of the replacement bridge, which involves demolition, precast inverset deck panel installation, precast concrete parapet walls, integral abutments, steel bearing piles, center pier construction consisting of cast-in-place reinforced concrete, installation of new steel beams, bridge railing and fencing, and 12-inch gas service, cable, telecom, 16-inch water main, signal communication, and street lighting installation. Work also involves the installation of a new culvert consisting of two 8-foot-diameter RCP culvert pipes to carry the Sprain Brook Parkway in the city of Yonkers, NY.
