The Verrazano Narrows Bridge is a heavily traveled, 9,800-foot-long, suspended span bridge, connecting Brooklyn and Staten Island . Existing construction varies, and consists of a 4,260 feet main span, 1,215 feet side spans and approach spans on both sides.

Siddiqui Engineering performed biennial inspection of the Verrazano Narrows Bridge Main spans.   The scope of work included review of existing documents, field inspection of structural components including floorbeams, stringers, box girders, columns, sign gantries and light standards and other miscellaneous tasks needed to complete the task.  The work also included concrete sounding to remove loose or unsound concrete.
